Although healthcare is filled with amazing physicians, nurses and staff, the process of coordinating care as a patient is inconvenient and inefficient.
Much of the way patients communicate with their doctor’s office – waiting on hold, leaving voicemails, and missed calls – has not changed in decades. At the time of our inception, freeform texting wasn’t technically legal for healthcare purposes (this soon changed). The vast majority of the communication burden was on the patient. To us, this felt backwards.
