Guillaume de Zwirek

CEO and Founder

Guillaume de Zwirek, CEO and Founder of Artera, started the company in 2015 with a singular mission – make healthcare #1 in customer service. Today, Artera is the SaaS digital health leader in patient communications trusted by 750+ healthcare systems and federal agencies. Under Guillaume’s leadership, Artera facilitates 2.2 billion annual conversations on behalf of 100+ million patients and their healthcare teams.

Most healthcare providers want to deliver a great patient experience, but still struggle due to siloed volume-based technology that encourages each department and IT vendor to independently communicate with patients. Without oversight, cohesion or visibility into competing engagement initiatives, vendors and departments, patients get bombarded with calls and texts and grow frustrated with their providers.

Artera solves for this by delivering healthcare organizations three distinct capabilities: a holistic view of every patient interaction across their enterprise, healthcare-specific communication capabilities (text/phone/email/live agent/chat bots), and a rich suite of APIs to orchestrate the timing, priority, and branding of the disparate and siloed patient engagement efforts happening across their organization. Together, these solutions equip healthcare organizations with the visibility and capabilities they need to deliver patients a world-class experience, leading to better outcomes and a more efficient healthcare organization.

Artera has been named a Deloitte Technology Fast 500 company (2021, 2022, 2023), and ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies for four consecutive years.

Before founding Artera, Guillaume worked at Google and (acquired by Amazon). Guillaume graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Classical Guitar Performance and a B.S. in Business Administration. He is a six-time Ironman athlete.
