Artera Achieves FedRAMP High “In Process” Status to Support Federal Agencies

Designation Is An Important Milestone In Artera’s Journey To Equip Federal Agencies With Secure, AI-Powered Patient Communication Platform and Virtual Agents

Santa Barbara, Calif. (August 20, 2025)Artera, the leading provider of patient communication technology, is now listed on the FedRAMP marketplace. The “In Process” designation is an important milestone in the company’s pursuit of FedRAMP® High authorization, underscoring the company’s commitment to delivering the most secure and compliant patient communications solutions for healthcare providers and federal agencies.

FedRAMP High authorization is a rigorous and comprehensive process set forth by the U.S. federal government; to achieve “In Process” status, Artera has demonstrated adherence to more than 400 security controls representing the highest security standards covering everything from access control and encryption to physical security and incident response.  The cloud services platform has been evaluated by a third-party assessor who is accredited to conduct a deep, independent audit of the system and confirm security controls are in place and effective.  Artera is actively working with a federal agency to obtain an Authority to Operate and its security package is now in the queue for agency review. Artera is proud to better serve federal agencies with its industry-leading patient communications platform and suite of virtual agents.
