Haley Woolf is a Client Success Associate in the Account Management Department. Her main responsibility is interacting with current customers to ensure the WELL™ platform is delivering on their needs and supporting inbound customer inquiries. Haley’s motivation to help others, especially in healthcare, and her love for Santa Barbara attracted her to work at WELL.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Fresno, California. Since it was very hot in the summer (reaching up to 115 degrees!), I would avoid the heat with my family by visiting Carpinteria, which is just outside of Santa Barbara. Because I loved Santa Barbara, I decided to move here after post-graduation traveling and internships. Since then, I have found it difficult to leave because of the amazing weather, nice people, and beautiful scenery. There are so many beaches and hiking trails that I love!

What is your favorite part of your current role?

Prior to my job search, I didn’t know about client support roles in the workplace. Once I discovered the Client Success job opening – I knew this was the type of role for me. I wanted to support the important work of the healthcare industry. I’ve enjoyed being a member of the Client Success Team, it’s been rewarding to develop new solutions for our clients and get to know the broader team while doing so.

What motivates you to come to work?

Metrics motivate me a lot in my role. Because I work with client support tickets and questions, I like to look at the number of clients I’m helping and how frequently I do so. This allows me to truly see the impact that I am having on the customer, and how I am helping them better serve their patients. During COVID especially, I know that the work I do to help health systems communicate with their patients is making a real difference for greater good.

If you had to market hot chocolate during the summer in Santa Barbara, what would be your strategy?

I would put a twist on it and change the beverage to an iced chocolate drink!

If you had to spend the rest of your life in one place, where would it be and why?

I love Santa Barbara, but it is an expensive place to stay. I hope to have acreage to raise my own farm animals someday. I envision myself eventually moving inland California so I can have my own dairy operation.

Haley loves goats. She used to take care of these precious animals on a farm.

What started your interest in farm animals?

My family has experience in agriculture. Growing up, we grew crops like tomatoes, pistachios and almonds, but my dream was to have a goat farm someday. After college, I volunteered on a goat farm and lived there for six months. While I worked there, I learned to make dairy products like yogurt and cheeses. It was so much fun!

You have a choice for one superpower; what would you choose? And why?

My love for animals knows no bounds!  My one superpower would be to communicate with animals. Animals are everywhere, they would have the ability to back me up in every situation!
